About Footskating

Like this website footskating is not a sport, its a way of life. Below are some pictures of the new Dudey Shreders Pro Foot Skater (yet to be released). A description of each pic will be next to it telling you the trick and how to perform it to the shredder ability of the pros, Enjoy

A Backfoot Sole-Grind performed by Pete Robson

Ignore the writing at the bottom (it was done by some computer nerd who'd never ever even back foot caramelled!) This trick is called a backfoot sole-slide. to do this wiked trick you must first run up to a rail (or kerb) a you mus jump onto the object landing on your back foot (or front foot making it a frontfoot sole-slide) your foot must land sideways (at 90o angles to the object) you must then slide along and then hop off (maybe when you hop off you could do a spin or a grab now THAT would be gnarly) The trick is easy to pick up but difficult to master. It is called a sole-slide becasue you slide on the sloes of your shoes. It was invented by Antonio 'The Cat' Balasio and is the most common grind used today.

Again the writings wrong. Its a Mellow-Out Grab. To do this trick you must run up a 1/4 and leap off it while you are in the air grab you left foot making shure your feet are together as are your knees. Then release your foot and land two footed, carry on running. This trick was created in 2001 by Ben Roders. It is a gnarly trick and it make you look dudey.

Finally the computer geek got it right! This trick is called the One Handed Wussplant. To do this trick run up verticly a 1/4 pipe, place your left hand on the lip of the pipe and use you momentem to kick you legs out horizontaly with the ground away for the ramp. Swing your legs around anticlockwise untill they're over the ramp. Then push with you left hand so that your upright. Try to do this so that your hands and feet are never touching the pipe at the same time. This trick is named after its creaor Arthur 'The Caner' Wuss.It is one of the hardest tricks to perfect. WELL DONE DUDE/TT YOU'VE PASSED FOOTSK8ING 101!
